Library research

The term has different meanings. One the one hand it may be synonymous with Library and Information Science (LIS). Johannsen & Kajberg (2005) represents this meaning.

On the other hand may library research mean research done in libraries, i.e. literature searching and utilization. Mann (2005) represents this meaning.  As a research method related to "secondary analysis" or "metaanalysis".
