The Royal School of Library and Information Science is a member
of iSchool Caucus. The
iSchools are interested in the interplay
between information, people and technology. This is characterized
by a commitment to learning about and understanding the role of
information in human endeavours.
RSLIS is a member of the Øresund University and also a member of a joint
Nordic-Baltic research education network: Nordic Research School in
Library and Information Science (NORSLIS).
RSLIS is deeply involved in many kinds of international
activities: International exchange programmes such as SOCRATES
and NORDPLUS, conduction of international conferences and seminars,
and a range of international (including EU-funded) research
projects.
Overseas students and staff exchanges are also taking place within
a collaborative project implemented jointly with Temasek
Information Technology School in Singapore and School of
Information and Library Science, University of North Carolina at
Chapel Hill, USA.
