Merger provides boost to information science

The Parliamentary Finance Committee has approved the merger between the Royal School of Library and Information Science (IVA) and the University of Copenhagen, making it possible to study information science and cultural communications at the University.

New book on library leadership

Professor Niels Ole Pors is co-editor and author of several contributions in the book, which deals with library leadership in the United States and Europe.

Educational programmes

The educational programmes rank from undergraduate to PhD-studies and are aimed at a variety of jobs in public libraries, research libraries, public administration, organisations and private companies. The graduates are very much in demand within the emerging knowledge society.

NCCPR 2013 - Call for papers

Acumen seminar

Invitation to an open seminar on the subject of Research Evaluation, on the 8th of March 2013 at the Royal School of Library and Information Science, between 10.00am and 01.00pm. The seminar is in collaboration with the ACUMEN project. ACUMEN is a European research collaboration aimed at understanding the ways in which researchers are evaluated by their peers and by institutions, and at assessing how the science system can be improved and enhanced.
